Always Stay 04:25
If I could take this photo Bring it back to life It’d smell like heaven It’d feel so fine If you were right here with me Not a world away I’d take this moment And make it always stay Make it always stay -wooh-ooh- Make it always stay Make it always stay -wooh-ooh- Make it always stay If I could take this journey Send it back in time To when the streets were smiling Back when you were mine You’d be right here with me Not a world away I'd take this moment And make it always stay Make it always stay -wooh-ooh- Make it always stay Make it always stay -wooh-ooh- Make it always stay If I could buy a time capsule No matter what the cost I’d spend my whole life savings To capture what we’ve lost You know I keep you near me You’re not a world away Let us take this moment And make it always stay Make it always stay -wooh-ooh- Make it always stay Make it always stay -wooh-ooh- Make it always stay

Into Cincinnati comes a driving rain It shakes us full of fright But don’t go leavin' on a westbound train I need you here tonight Water’s rising still the storm ain't through You start to panic inside Getting higher now I'm worried, too So I need you here tonight Would you believe it when the morning comes When the sun takes his place in the sky Don't go chasin' after western skies I need you here tonight Grass ain’t greener on the other side It's only in your mind You can’t stop dreaming ‘bout a different life But I need you here tonight Would you believe it when the morning comes When the sun takes his place in the sky Don't go chasin' after western skies I need you here tonight Don’t go chasin' after western skies It's all in front of your eyes Don’t go chasin' after western skies You'll find it here tonight You'll find it here tonight You'll find it here tonight

I wish I could write you a symphony That unbroken phrases would flow through me Wish I could write you a symphony but This song will have to do I’ll give you everything I can give You're the one who gives me the will to live I don't have much but what I've got I'll give and This song will have to do What I need I'll find it in you Know that love Has found us in tune What you need You'll find it in me I give it all to you I ain’t got no dance moves but that's all right So many other ways I can treat you nice I ain’t got no dance moves but that's all right So this song will have to do My gift, a revival, I sing to you My melody, a hammer, that strikes the truth Take this revival I sing to you Yeah this song is all for you What I need I'll find it in you Know that love Has found us in tune What you need You'll find it in me I give it all to you Wish I could write you a symphony That unbroken phrases would flow through me Wish I could write you a symphony but This song will have to do

Wave Goodbye 03:35
Built your palaces on well-worn roads So familiar, ain't no place like home Time is calling you to make your own And wave goodbye to all you know Will the cynics heckle like they can When you're a stranger in a foreign land? Look inside, you’ve got this brand-new glow And wave goodbye to all you know Go, find your way Go, find your way Go… Staring down a row of challenges But it’s not every battle you can win Find some comfort in the evening glow And wave goodbye to all you know Will the sun set on us like it did Sinking sweetly back when we were kids Is it time to let nostalgia go And wave goodbye to all you know? Go, find your way Go, find your way Go… There is no before No, there’s no looking back No time for regrets Or to wave a white flag There is only now And this road that we’re on Steady, marching along ...And wave goodbye to all you know

Boring 04:15
Would you mind if I kept it clean Or if rice and beans were my favorite meal? I could take you out for a simple date As long as we're in bed by half past eight Will you stay if I fill your cup? That mug you're holding ain't big enough I roll into summer but play it low I'm not looking to steal the show I wanna be boring I wanna play it safe Although they say never say never I know I'm forever gonna be this way I don't wanna be your good time I just wanna be good And then at the end of the day I'll stop and I'll pray And this is what I'll say: I wanna be boring I wanna be boring Will you walk with me down this road? But grab your coat 'cause it's gettin cold We can make our way over to Franklin Park Stay a little while but be back by dark Will you mind if I just wanna read? I can't keep up with my high-tech screen Hum a little melody, humble but flow I'm not looking to steal the show I wanna be boring I wanna play it safe Although they say never say never I know I'm forever gonna be this way I don't wanna be your good time I just wanna be good And then at the end of the day I'll stop and I'll pray And this is what I'll say: I wanna be boring I wanna be boring My love Living is finer with my love Road’s a bit brighter with my love Can you feel it too? Try love If you find a diamond like my love Be sure to mine it tonight, love And you'll feel it, too

about

This album is dedicated to the memory of my uncle, William Stephen Gotchey, who passed away on May 13, 2022. He was a lifelong music lover and was a huge supporter of my songwriting & my guitar playing. He was always eager to hear me unveil original songs, and I have no doubt he would truly enjoy listening to this recording.

I hope you enjoy it, too.
